Privacy — what SnagMe collects

SnagMe (part of Noda) collects the minimum needed to run car alerts, valuations and recommendations: your sign-in identity, the preferences you set, the cars you watch or check, and your quiz answers. We never sell your data, and rankings never accept dealer payment.

Account: email address and Google sign-in identifier when you register.

Preferences & alerts: budget, makes/models you follow, region, digest and alert toggles, watchlists (including model watches), and a 4-week pause flag.

Usage that powers features: valuation lookups (a car you open is auto-watched so we can tell you when its price drops — shown as "cars you checked"), quiz answers (budget, usage, charging, timeline), and report feedback (👍/👎).

Operations: request logs and rate-limit counters, kept for abuse prevention.

To send you alert emails and the daily digest you opted into, to value cars, and to recommend models. Aggregated, de-identified stats may appear on public pages (e.g. how many cars fired this week).

We do not sell personal data, and we do not accept payment from dealers to rank or recommend their cars.

Emails: every email carries an unsubscribe link; the account page toggles digest and alerts, and can pause everything for 4 weeks.

Watches: remove any watched car or model from the watchlist at any time.

Your preferences and watchlists are visible and editable on the account page.

To export or delete your data (including quiz answers and valuation history), email [email protected] — we action requests within 30 days.

Sign-in uses a session cookie. We use Google Analytics 4 with a consent banner; you can decline and still use every feature.
